Resident Assistants

IES Barcelona has assigned a Resident Assistant to all the students living in our apartments. The RA’s function is to help the student in all their needs. A very important part of their job is to show the students how to function in Barcelona, for example, explaining how the public transportation works, walk with them in their neighbourhood, etc.

They are also in charged of helping them with all the problems related to their apartment, RA’s will visit the students at least once a week, but upon students request they will go to the apartment as soon as possible.

As our RA’s are college students themselves, they share a lot of common interests with our students. The RA’s play a very important role helping our students to integrate in the Spanish culture by introducing them to local students and informing our students about cultural activities that take place in Barcelona.
