IES Barcelona is committed to making our facilities friendly and welcoming to disabled students. All our staff has the best attitude in order to make your stay the most comfortable and satisfying by helping you to the best of our ability.

Two wheelchair-accessible elevators are available at the IES Center main hall. They will take you to each floor. You will also find easily accessible toilets and classrooms and wide corridors in the building for better mobility.

Referring to housing assignments we will place you into the best option considering your needs.

Unfortunately, when it comes to traveling through the city the access options are more difficult to obtain than they should be. As in any other big city, barriers of architecture and transportation difficulties still can get in the way. Nevertheless, as the time passes we get to see improvements, especially on public transportation options. Boarding ramps have been installed in many buses and elevators for the Metro entrances.
