Colegio Mayor

Colegio Mayor is a very good option for students really interested in learning Spanish and in mixing with Spanish college students, which helps them learn about the culture and lifestyle in Spain.

Advantages of living in the Colegio Mayor: The chance to meet a lot of Spanish college students. The Colegio Mayor serves 3 meals daily in the dining room 7 days per week. There is a computer room, a music room, a TVroom, etc. Daily cleaning of the common areas and cleaning of the rooms two days per week is included. Bed sheets, pillow cases, towels and washcloths are not provided.

The rooms are triple, which means less privacy and the rules of the Colegio Mayor are very strict. Students have to do their own laundry and pay for it, they are also expected to participate in the activities organized by the Colegio Mayor. Sometimes IES Students tend to stay together and don’t mix much with local students.
