Spring Field Trips

Spain is a culturally rich country. By traveling only some miles away you can experience a totally different atmosphere and see other landscapes or architectural styles.

Our optional field trips have taken dozens of students to the South, North and East of the country. Now they can tell their friends and relatives about the Southern enchantment of Muslim Granada, the coastal and lively city of Valencia, or Euskadi (the Basque Country), the region with the most enigmatic language in Europe.

Field trips are subsidized by IES Barcelona. Students are expected to cover a part of the total cost of the first field trip they sign up for. In the Spring 2008 term, these sums range from 250 to 300 euros approximately. Students can choose to go on a second field trip by paying the full price.
